Esuna//Ready Cure//READY Ruin//Ready Ifrit//Ready ov-drive//ready | Yes, he was so very awful; probably because he had no experience with holding hands, much less a female’s and even further less a female who had a tendency to act somewhat homicidal toward the world. While what happened to her as a child explained her lack of appreciation toward the ocean, it didn’t explain her homicidal personality all that much. From what he could tell, she seemed to have no issues speaking with people or helping them, as she had done so on several occasions since he met her. First was himself and then the crusaders; although he supposed that since she knew the crusader in trouble; helping might have been due to her connection with him. Her hand pulled away from his own before she readjusted how he held it. Fingers laced with his own and he suddenly felt even more uncomfortable than he had before. It felt awkward to have something between his fingers; it was a foreign feeling that he wasn’t used to. How did people ever grow accustomed to doing such a thing? He supposed it felt better when it was with someone that you cared about. ”I’m not scared to get to close to people. I just never had the opportunity…” He was just uncertain how people were supposed to get close or… was awkward about it… or just didn’t’ know how to go about it. He just was useless in regards to human interaction that would outside of the temple. He could converse fairly confidently with a priest at a temple or even speak of the Teachings of Yevon to those seeking to listen while they visited the temple. If it was intellectual conversation he was fairly good with, but when it came to a more personable conversation he fell short from lack of experience. He wasn’t charismatic or a leader in any shape, way, or form because he was raised to be the person standing off to the side and wait for those to approach him. It was something he probably did need to work on, but he didn’t know how to do so. When he looked back at her, she was fast asleep and he poked her shoulder once to be certain before he found himself awkwardly sitting there in stiff silence. He wasn’t sure if she’d wake up again if he moved or got up. |
