LUCIFER ANGELUS
human
APPEARANCE The Twin who was born for brains and brawn, Lucifer, is what he is known as. While many may point out that he's a very handsome young man, he is also quite the fighter. His skin complexion of caucasian is noticed more brilliantly under the moonlight, whereas his sister seems to shine under sunlight. His hair stands forever a tousled, spiked mess, pointing in every direction save for a tuft of it sort of sitting arched up front. Much like his sister, Lucifer prefers very much to have the life style of a normal guy who happens to live with his twin sister, and doesn't mind partaking in some of so called 'girls' activities, including letting his sister pick dress him up in various outfits as one particular example, but not limited to it. He has royal blue, slightly slanted eyes which shine a radiant crystalline-blue under moonlight, a trait that he actually inherited from his mother Lady Luna, where in turn, he was granted a strong physical body like his father. Though he is of an average height for young men like himself, Lucifer possesses a well-defined muscular frame, easily letting anyone know that he is fairly strong and can probably handle himself very easily. Lucifer dons a blue vest with golden outer edges and inner edges covered by a prominent trimming of gray fur over a short, cream top, leaving his muscular upper abdominals exposed. His arms are covered in matching white sleeves fitting around his mid bicep, wrists adorned with white-silver bracelets with metal crucifixes attached to each. He wears a pair of long white pants which stop at a pair of black split-toed boots, easy on the feet, and great for long travels. PERSONALITY Lucifer is a calm individual who is always concise and straight to the point, keeping his thoughts mainly focused on the goal at hand. One of those primary goals being to keep his dear sister safe from harm's way. He often shares many of his sisters' views on people, in that each individual harbors great potential in themselves, and that each life should always be cherished. As a Guardian, he takes these words to heart, and does his best to heed them along with the teachings of Yevon, swearing an oath to be her shield. However, because of this – being both her brother, and her Guardian – he has a tendency to lose his cool and scare people away with an apparently fiery temper. Needless to say, he's a bit overprotective of her. Despite all of that, he doesn't truly mean any harm, as much as he is simply looking out for her well-being. The same can be said of other friends, and comrades alike, although he will leave no room for any form of harm to befall his sister in which case if you are unfortunate enough, you will witness a very very nasty side of him. Lucifer does all he can to help in bearing the burdens of the entire world with his sister, as she often tends to do so all on her own. It's sometimes hard to remind her that she in fact isn't alone, though it comes with a stubborn streak of hers. He often reflects on the past and blames himself for the death of their parents, often closing himself off when witnessing the death of another before his eyes. It is noted many times over how much Lucifer cares for his sister, like her, always wishing they could have been born into a normal life instead of that of Summoner and Guardian. However, he often time and again reminds her and himself that as long as they have each other, everything will be alright. Despite this, he knows full well of his duties to his sister as her Guardian, and what it entails when their pilgrimage comes to a final close. It will surely be a grueling decision to make, but for his sister's sake, more than likely one he is willing to make. HISTORY [4/6/2014 9:19:23 PM] Sky Dragon Slayer Light: The start of a new life had just begun for the young twins who were born by the parents who were prophesied to have two children that were to become a Summoner and the other that were to be of first born becoming the Guardian of that said child who is to become the Summoner. Lady Luna did not know of what this meant, but it was a blessing to both her and the father of her children, Solaris. Solaris was a brave young knight who protected the current summoner Luna. Luna knew of the price that was to be past down as she foresaw it within a dream one night but did not tell her husband, but Solaris was no fool of course and knew of the price that were to come with having a child as a Summoner. The children of Solaris and Luna were both twins. The first child to come out was a boy who himself were named, Lucifer for he was the light that were to protect his sibling. The next was a baby girl who had seemed to be the summoner, Sayla. Both children were named on the day of their birth and have been told to become of greatness, but on a tragic day there was an attack. An attack that was brought by a dark summoner who wielded the tamed Behemoth. This dark summoner knew no bounds to his power and summoned not only Behemoth but the monstrous creature Odin, a summon that hadn't been seen within ages. This unknown dark summoner came with such brute strength, but it was nothing compared to Luna and Solaris an many others who lived within Besaid. As Luna would place a protective barrier around her children she would watch as Solaris left to do battle with the many warriors who lived within Besaid. Solaris went ahead battle formation to locate the ruler of the two powerful summons, but hearing the cry of Luna he would rush back to his home where the dark summoner stood before her protective barrier. Before Solaris could get near the being who was about to slay his wife and children a Holy Monk came to aid the two parents. The Holy Monk was an ally and friend of the family named, Zhe Lu Shin. Zhe Lu Shin was a monk warrior who lived within the temple that was not too far from their location. Taking the two children Luna would thank him gratefully as he left toward the Temple, but the Dark Summoner would not let them leave so easily. He had begun to charge a bolt of lightning but was cut off by Solaris's attack causing the warrior to intervene successfully, but watching his children leave he knew he would not live from this fight as did his wife. On that day it was the last Zhe had ever seen of the two children's parents, but it did not mean he could raise them as his own. From that day on he trained both the children of what they were to be. At a young age of preteen being twelve Zhe had the other monks train the young male twins sister while he trained the young male in harnessing his talents. Lucifer was certainly built to be a fighter, however, opposite of his sister, he chose the path of a Black Mage. Lucifer is a guy who unlike his sister, has a tendency to bottle up all of his emotions for the sake of appearing strong and cool in front of her - if anything to be a sort of role model for her - but on the inside, sure enough, is always dealing with conflicted feelings when approached by stressful or emotional situations. In most circumstances, he finds himself falling in line with the monks whenever Sayla would wish to venture outside just to be herself for a change. It was always hard to deny her that wish, but he had to step up in order to be a strong Guardian for her. Through the many times he felt he let her down, he would remind himself that it's all for the sake of his sister. The sake of keeping her safe until his final moments in Spira. But even despite following orders from the monks, he too, had gotten into his own share of trouble, having discovered Al Bhed Primers left behind by his mother, keeping them secret from the monks as best as he could. Though, it didn't help that there were a few times where he had been caught and scolded for it, Zhe having threaten to take them away. But even with that, it didn't stop him from having learned the language, now able to speak it fluently with ease. Sometimes he'd fall into muttering things in the Al Bhed's tongue when expressing a form of sarcasm or annoyance. Often time and again he would hear worries from the monk Zhe Yu Shin about how Sayla may potentially run off to avoid her destiny, thus why he would always nag on her to stick to her teachings. The more Lucifer ever heard about it, the more he would quietly think on how their 'destiny' was more of a 'curse' than anything else, questioning why such a thing had to be shoved upon himself and Sayla? But even with so many questions in mind, someone had to do the job, right? Now is the time at their current teenage years where he and Sayla will embark on their pilgrimage together, Lucifer taking his final bow to his teachers before leaving with his sister, not once looking back at the temple with wishes to only move forward. ROLEPLAY SAMPLE It was a bright and sunny day when Lucifer and his twin sibling Sayla arrived at the island of Kilika, not there for sightseeing, but to embark on the next step of Sayla's pilgrimage as a Summoner in order to pray in the temple and acquire the Aeon Ifrit, The Demon of Flames. This island was home to many souls that lay at rest after an encounter with Sin, a scene which brought much unease and heartache to its residents. Despite knowing this, Lucifer would simply clear it out of his mind before proceeding onward, closer to the temple, only to stop and find that his dear sister was wandering off somewhere or another. "What do you think you're doing?", he would inquire, placing a hand on Sayla's shoulder to stop her from going any further. It didn't take long before he found himself scolding her, though only doing it merely out of protection and concern for her. "You can't just go wandering off on your own! Besides, we've had a long ferry ride, and I think you should take this time to rest to prepare for the Trials." It also didn't take long for Sayla to fume up and scold him right back, calling him and Uncle Zhe a slacker and an idiot. "Now just hold on a minute...!", he would start, only to be unheard as she stormed away, leaving him behind. He would say in a mix of anguish and annoyance, muttering something or another about having an unruly sister and the like. He would take up his belongings and move them into the bedroom he was given, letting out a sigh before sitting himself down and punching into the mattress. What the hell was he doing? This whole situation in being a Guardian for his sister, this being their first time leaving Besaid Island and having to bring The Calm to Spira? Why did so much have to ride on their shoulders? Having to bare such a heavy burden was severely frustrating! Even so, they had a duty to perform, and if it could bring about a time of peace, no matter how temporary, he was willing to do it for Sayla. He'd brush that unruly part of his bangs from his eyes before sitting down on the floor to meditate, legs crossed and hands joined together by the fingertips. He'd murmur about necessary preparations quietly as he closed his eyes. The next time they ventured out, they may have to experience their first real battle. Lucifer wanted to do everything he could to prepare for it in the meantime. But that aside, how was he going to make up for being so uptight around Sayla? They weren't under the watch of Zhe and the monks anymore. Perhaps he could actually spare some real quality time with his sister while they were out in the world? Perhaps at one point they could go sightseeing in Luca? He'd often heard that there were always games of...what was it? Blitzball? He'd heard that it was a worldwide sport that everyone seemed to enjoy, whether they be playing it, or just watching. The idea was rather interesting to himself as well, never having had the chance to play, but always wanting to try. His thoughts would be disturbed however as he opened one eye, looking towards the door as he heard a faint shuffling. His eye would close once again, a smile curling over his lips, as he knew full well it was more than likely Sayla checking up on him. Despite them having their moments of sibling rivalry, they were siblings after all. Bless her heart, that Sayla. ABILITIES Barrage Kick: Sends a barrage of kicks to up to 3 enemies.
