Constantina Cross
Words: 419 Tag: OPEN Note: Anyone joining is welcomed to help fight the fire or be saved from it. | Constantina moaned for a moment as she watched two men disagree quite loudly for the last thirty minutes. The two had been fighting over the most trivial thing: blitzball. One man seemed to be a Luca Goers fan while the other was a Ronso Fangs fan. It was a completely and utterly waste of time since neither team was the current reigning champions; besides this type of talk was more appropriate for Luca rather than Bevelle. While she had a healthy like for blitzball like any other follower of Yevon, Constantina wasn’t going to the extent these men were. They were going to chew off each other’s head at any moment. If anything, she was one of the few people interested in watching the fight that looked to break out over their flaring tempers. Honestly, punching another man proved nothing about a team but it was entertaining from her standpoint. Things looked like they were about to ton south when there was a loud sound off to the distance. Immediately, everyone in the group stopped and they all turned to see one of the boats at the docks was on fire. “What?” she questioned a bit dumbfounded. It wasn’t every day that a boat exploded and caught on fire for no reason. She supposed that was more interesting than some silly argument. They might need her help putting out the fire and if she wanted to watch a blood sport than it would be interesting to see someone harmed when the Crusaders found out who was committing acts of terror in Bevelle. She started to walk towards the docks of the city with a new found objective. The woman walked faster than usual but not so fast that she was running. A few people passed her as they went to watch or help with the fire. It took the pink haired woman a moment, but the moment she got to the docks she noticed how serious the fire was. From the distance it looked like it was just affecting one boat but it seemed two boats were on fire now and some people were still trapped on one boat. “Interesting,” she mumbled to herself before she raised her hand up. “Water!” A ball of water form in her hand and she shot it towards the flames that were blocking the bridge. Others were already tossing ocean water on the different sections on fire but at least the people aboard could escape. There was still so much to do, however. |
