AEON LIST
On Calming Delusions all created summoners seeking to start the Pilgrimage must start out as a freshly made summoner. With that, a person can start out with Valefor or Ifrit. Kilika or Besaid will be the only two places we consider as a "starting point". The numbers beside each aeon's name is how much experience is needed to obtain them, if it is your first aeon then it does not cost any experience. To obtain a new summon and advance onward in a pilgrimage a summoner must go pray at a temple. Only pray at a temple if you have enough EXP to purchase that aeon. After completing a "Temple Thread" the EXP will be deducted from your character and the aeon will be placed into your character profile. Also, all aeons can be summoned and remain on the field for 3 posts. On the third post you can use the aeon's overdrive. Once the overdrive is used the aeon disappears. If an aeon does not use it's overdrive after the third post that aeon will still disappear.
Valefor's fayth, a teenage girl, is located within the temple of Besaid. Being an aerial aeon, Valefor easily dodges many attacks from the ground. Valefor's regular attack is a quick, snatching motion, enhanced by her high accuracy. An interesting passive ability Valefor possesses is that she is considered "Out of Range", meaning grounded foes with no damaging long-range attacks or magic cannot even make a move and are simply helpless against her. There are symbols of the Yevon script that are associated with a particular aeon. The symbol for Valefor and Besaid is annotated with the kanji for nothing (無, mu?). Emptiness, mu, is a Zen Buddhist concept expressing negation of the self, selflessness, innocence and purity of soul. These are traits a summoner must achieve to succeed in defeating Sin. Buddhist concept of nothingness may also be associated with the element of air. Valefor is a flying aeon whose main attack is non-elemental and delays the opponent's turn, traits that also fit this theme. ATTACK LIST Sonic Wings: sends a shock wave at an enemy. Because of the short recovery time Valefor can often hit enemies repeatedly with Sonic Wings with little or no retaliation. Energy Ray: this is Valefor's overdrive. Fires a super-charged beam that explodes underneath the foes and deals non-elemental damage. This attack, as an overdrive, is very powerful as far as Valefor goes. Please note that, as an Aeon, Valefor isn't the most powerful. Matter-of-fact she's the weakest available.

Ixion's Fayth comes to the summoner as a man, not much is known of him however. As an aeon he looks something like a dark unicorn with a white mane. The symbol for Ixion and Djose is annotated with the kanji for thunder (雷, kaminari?). His defense is very high, as well as his magic defense. ATTACK LIST Aerospark: Fires two discs that collide with a single enemy, causing non-elemental damage. This attack can break through magical barriers. Thors Hammer: (overdrive) Ixion charges electrical energy on the tip of his horn and shoots it toward the enemy, lifting it into the air. While still connected by an electrical current, Ixion sends a blast of electricity to the enemy, causing lightning damage. This attack can be devastating towards water-based opponents.
Shiva's fayth appears as a Macalanian priestess. Shiva literally looks frozen, her skin is blue and parts of her seems to have become ice. Casting blizzard on Shiva will heal her. Shiva possesses a decent amount of ice-power, with agility and evasiveness to boot. All in all she is a powerful ally to have at a summoner's side. ATTACK LIST Heavenly Strike: Shiva forms a large slab of ice before her and then flicks her wrist, sending it crashing into an enemy. This attack can cause severe frost-bite, sometimes it even makes an enemy seem paralyzed. Diamond Dust: Deals Ice-elemental damage to all opponents. In this, Shiva spins around and shoots ice at the opponent. She then fires a blast of freezing air which holds the enemy in place, followed by Shiva snapping her fingers to break the ice and damage the opponent in the process.
He sleeps in Bevelle Temple where summoners can obtain him on their pilgrimage. His Fayth form is that of a fragile child, seemingly a stark contrast to his large and fierce looking aeon form. Bahamut is very dragon-like, although his large body makes him a little slow. He can deal devastating blows seeing as he is the strongest Aeon available. The symbol for Bahamut and Bevelle is annotated with the kanji for light (光, hikari?). ATTACK LIST Impulse: Bahamut charges three orbs of pure energy which only takes a few seconds. Then he releases those orbs, sending them flying towards a group of enemies. This attack can hit multiple opponents, dealing them moderate damage. Megaflare: Bahamut's Overdrive is Mega Flare, and deals non-elemental special damage to all opponents. In the process, he flips backwards onto the ground behind him and proceeds to charge his Mega Flare by spinning his wheel and forming a spherical ball of energy in front of his mouth. It is then fired in a large blast, causing a large explosion to engulf the opponents. This causes massive damage to all opponents.
Yojimbo's fayth is a proud warrior from a time long ago. He is easily offended, making this fayth a bit tricky to work with. If a summoner can successfully acquire him he is a powerful ally, using powerful attacks that are more powered than even Bahamuts. Yojimbo isn't controlled easily, however. Often he does not take orders and will act on his own. Only those he finds respectable he will take suggestions from. If Yojimbo is offended upon his summoning he may even dismiss himself, leaving an unguarded summoner vulnerable. ATTACK LIST Daigoro: Yojimbo's dog will attack on his command. As it is his weakest move, Yojimbo will shake his head before using Daigoro, as if to disapprove of the summoner who summoned him. Kozuka: Yojimbo throws several kozuka (a special throwing knife made to fit inside a wakizashi's scabbard) at a single target. Wakizashi: Yojimbo slashes single/multiple targets with his wakizashi (his short sword). Zanmato: Yojimbo calls his katana out of a portal in the ground and uses it to slice all enemies in half. It instantly kills any enemy. Very few summoners have seen this attack because Yojimbo will only use it if he sees the summoner as his equal, which is an extremely rare case.
